This duster takes the effort out of dusting and even makes the chore bareable.

The concept of this is amazingly simple, take some easily statically charged fibres, put them on some rods of varying lengths, add to it a mechanically driven rotary action and you have the perfect duster. The duster parts are narrow enough to fit in most tight spaces and the longest of the rods enable easy reaching of those celing corners where all sorts of dust and cobwebs love to congregate.

The smaller brush is perfect for cleaning of computer keyboards and screens, even down the back of the PC (when it's turned off of course Smile Icon)

This is a remarkable duster and it does make the dusting process a real breeze.

I was quite impressed with the Roto-Duster. Aside from the cool rotary action, which just sucked up those extremely long cobwebs that seem to magically appear and festoon the room like streamers, it seemed to grab all the dust where it went.

The long handle meant even my daughter was able to reach into the ceiling corners to dust, leaving me parked on the sofa feeling extremely lazy. We were able to walk around the room and the dusting was done in one very easy action. The novelty action alone of the Roto-Duster means you are likely to get the kids wanting to do the dusting for you.

As the previous reviewer mentioned, it is best to run the duster for a short while before dusting, to allow the electrostatic charge to build up first, to ensure the dust really clings.

The multiple heads make short work of dusting over everything - larger surface areas down to tight spaces such as between the fridge and the wall; on-top of picture frames and around ornaments.

The light-weight construction means you can dust for ages without getting arm fatigu, and because the job is speeded up immensely, it means you can get the job done in half the time.

I have seen things like these demonstrated in stores, and it always struck me that they could easily have applied some light adhesive or something to them that makes them *appear* so effective... but having had the chance to trial one myself, I can now say that these *DO WORK*. Maybe not as the 'wave it casually around and -bingo- dusto-gonno' TV commercials would have you believe, but they certainly do suck up the dust amazingly well... once you have spun the head a few times to build up a suitable static charge.

That was the key secret I discovered... you have to let it build up a charge before it really kicks into work. If you dive right in and use it half-charged, or not at all, then you're setting yourself up for one of those "WTF did I buy this for?!" moments we all loathe so much. Even at $20, it's not something you want to feel ripped off about.

So... running this around the lounge's higher curtain-sills was a simple matter, thanks to the longest dusting head and a bit of stretching... the smallest head was great for on the lower shelves of the wall unit, amongst the model car collection and dragon sculptures, while the middle duster head was great around the computer and laser printer, as it could reach all around without getting too unweildy.

Overall, I found this to be a very effective unit, capable of much around the house and office too. My only surprise was that it uses 4 x 'AA' batteries... I would have expected a couple of 'D' cells at most maybe, though that may have made it a tad too heavy.
