Open and play, then fold and go! Easy to set up, this two-level garage playset is full of big excitement!

A clicking vehicle lift takes cars up and down. Two folding ramps make it easy to "drive" cars up to the second level, or down to the first. When it's time to clean up, pack the vehicles inside.

A built-in handle makes it easy for little "drivers" to put the playset away, or carry the fun along from room to room!

    •  Playset comes with 1 WHEEL PALS vehicle.
    •  Suitable for ages 18 months and up.

vivid   Review #3082 - Dated: 9th of July, 2009

I plonked this down in front of my 19 month old nephew and sat back to see what he would do. His first reaction was to give it 'the hard stare' with that 'what am I supposed to do with this?' look on his face. After as few minutes he worked out it had to be unfolded, then refolded, and unfolded, and - you get the idea. This gave him lots of enjoyment for a good 10 minutes just exploring how the ramps folded up and tucked themselves away.
After he had grown tired of this activity he started to play with the little blue truck that comes with it. Like all young boys he zoomed it around, made it crash into things, rescue stranded wooden blocks lost at sea (?!) and such like. Then it was time to combine the two and get the truck back onto the garage. He loved running it up and down the elevator and was really taken by surprise when he wheeled it out onto what looked like a solid platform at the top, only to have it reveal itself as a spring loaded ramp! This prompted another half an hour of repeatitive play.
When it was time for him to go, I told him to pack it up, which he did really well, tucking the truck back in the right place without me having to show him the instruction sheet, so its quite an intuitive toy too. He looked so proud carrying it out the door like a little briefcase and his mum has told me it is now his favourite toy. (Until the next one comes along.)
All in all an excellent toy. A little bit pricier than I would be happy with, maybe $35.00 tops for me. Fairly sturdy and durable, it stood up to a bit of rough play and one ramp popped out but was very easy to reattach, as it seems designed to pop loose rather than break.
