Had a great dining experience here recently on a weeknight. My friend and I arrived at an early 5.30pm. The restaurant was empty until 6.30pm, when other diners started arriving. So a tip, if you want a quiet, romantic evening, get in early. Our waitress was lovely and attentive all through our stay. Our mains came out in very good time and were delicious. I had a beautiful, innovative chicken salad with crispy noodles and brie wontons. The chicken was moist and tender, and the salad fresh with just the right amount of dressing. The serving size was perfect. The restaurant has a selection of lighter mains (my chicken salad was included in this menu), and a selection of larger, more expensive mains, so there is plenty of choice for everybody. We decided to move to the bar for drinks after dinner. The waitresses continued being attentive, this was a great way to end our evening. Nero would be perfect for a function as there is a spacious outdoor area out the back with tables and chairs. Well done Nero, I will be back! |
