Roboreptile, the ultimate cold-blooded predator, comes to life through a combination of dynamic robotic animations and advanced interactive technologies. With his low menacing stride and striking animations, Roboreptile is an impressive mix of powerful agility, multi-sensory awareness and a fiery personality.

This 2.25 foot long reptilian includes the following features:
    •  Realistic biomorphic movements
    •  Four-legged walking and high speed running; bipedal "attack" mode; jumping action
    •  Flexible neck; whipping tail
    •  Multi-sensory environmental awareness
    •  Infra-red vision sensors for obstacle avoidance and detection of movements

Tucker   Review #1676 - Dated: 27th of December, 2006
  Author: Tucker

After having the RoboSapien wandering around my lounge for the last year or so, playing guard-bot and official Terrifier of Marauding neighbourhood Felines, the novelty factor has been wearing a bit thin. So it was with great glee that I spotted this new addition to the Robo family.

Slightly smaller and far more agile than it's predecessor, the Roboraptor, the Roboreptile was immediately unpacked and gobbled up the 6 AA batteries, plus a further 3 into the remote. A serious reading of the manual later and I was away... Much fun was had by me for the next few days... and my poor cat wouldn't enter the house for a week!

It took a while for her to adapt to the new guardian, and now wanders in and out happily, ignoring this strange white monster snarling and snapping at her as she casually saunters past just out of range. As a bonus, despite the tail this unit takes up a smaller storage space than the 'sapien, because I can tuck the tail away into a cavity that to date has been unusable. Yay.

Overall, lots of fun indeed... and I plan to test the whole interaction between this and the 'sapien... as it seems the 'sapien was programmed with 'family ties' and the ability to coerce interaction between other members of the clan. At least, that's what I suspect... -rubs hands together in a distinctly evil way- This is going to be... interesting... LOL Icon
