With the General Lee tanked up for a car-crashin' action and with more laughs than a dog has fleas, this big-screen version of the long-running TV series is big-time fun.

Johnny Knoxville, Seann Willian Scott, Jessica Simpson, Burt Reynolds, Willie Nelson and more help keep the pedal to the metal for 100MPH laughs. Stars, comedy, spills and thrills - The Dukes of Hazzard's got it all, y'all!

And on top of that, this DVD-Exclusive Unseen Version features Outrageous Footage not shown in theatres. These good ol' boys just got better - and you're in for a whole lot more fun!

I grew up waiting each and every week for the episode of the Dukes of Hazzard to come on television...I would sit there glued to the screen and loved the antics at the Duke boys got up to and the original cast members made the series a hit in my eyes as a kid.

I went into the movie theatre knowing the movie wouldn't be as good as the original series but knew it would be worth a laugh because anything with Johnny Knoxville, Seann William Scott, Jessica Simpson, Burt Reynolds, and Willie Nelson in it has to be laugh worthy!!..and I wasn't let down...as chick I love a movie that has car chases, things blowing up, laughing at boys doing stupid things and southern accents!

I was disappointed to see Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg....he didn't really fit the character in my opinion, but Johnny and Seann were good substitutes for the Duke boys and Jessica brought Daisy's character into the 21 century, it was good to see the Daisy Duke short shorts still made the movie and Uncle Jesse was well played by the legendary Willie Nelson.

The good old General Lee was and still is my favourite character within the movie but I did find it rather disturbing how Bo's relationship with the car was per trade within the movie...it was a little weird and not what the movie people should do to get laughs as I wasn't laughing...I get that guys love their cars but none of that happened in the television series!! Maybe I shouldn't be comparing the two but hey way to wreck a girls memories of a great show!

Since watching the movie on the big screen I have watched it on television as well so the weirdness of the movie hasn't put me off and it does make me laugh, the characters, especially Luke's (Johnny Knoxville) character makes me laugh throughout the movie...I would watch it again and recommend it as a great movie if you like cars, racing, blowing things up etc.

I love this movie, I thought it was great the first time I saw it... and the second and... well you get the picture.
Stuff blows up, there are hot girls and guys, car chases, humour, moonshine, and lets not forget some very short shorts.
This is quite a good big-screen adaptation of a rip-roaring series I adored when I was little. I feel it really captures the essence of the Dukes, yet it still managed to modernise it a bit. Daisy is a bit more of a modern woman for starters, which helps.

I was a little disappointed with the 'extra footage' promised. There wasn't as much as I was hoping, nor was it as good as I expected. Don't let this put you off the movie however, it's well worth a boys night (or a girls night if you like to see stuff blow up) and what it lacks in IQ it makes up for in the General Lee and Willie Nelson cracking jokes.

This is a lads movie - nothing more. If you want a movie with a good story line that makes you think, feel for the character, with a little romance or a weepie then don't bother with this.
Dukes of Hazzard is not a movie to curl up on the sofa with your girlfriend and share a box of chocolates whilst massaging her feet. No. This is a movie to get the beer out, get the lads around for some serious fun.

What this movie lacks in a storyline, it makes up for in gratuitous car chases. Gratuitous car smashes, gratuitous nudity, Jessica Simpson, more nudity and suggestive behaviour, moonshine, more car chases and more car smashes. Oh, and the ubiquitous bar room brawl.

As I say, not a movie to watch with your girlfriend - but this is so much fun.

Grab a beer or two, put the Dukes of Hazzard into the DVD player and sit back for a fun ride. It really is a guy-thing.
